I’m happy to announce that I will be leading a workshop at CSCW 2019 in Austin on Social Technologies for Marginalized Wellbeing, where we’ll bring a diverse group of scholars together to examine the balance between the major benefits these technologies can provide to marginalized communities and the serious pitfalls they impose upon all of us. I’ll also be contributing to a workshop on transparency in qualitative methods with my ongoing work on transparent, efficient reporting of grounded theory in short-form papers. Finally, I’ll be a Student Volunteer this year, and will be around to answer all your questions!
